Vanadium metal is used in aerospace and nuclear engineering where strength and thermal stability are required in demanding service conditions. It is commonly added to steel and titanium alloys to improve mechanical performance and long-term stability in structural components. High-purity vanadium metal is used as a reference material for chemical analysis and is also supplied in powder form for use in catalytic systems and powder metallurgy processing. In nuclear systems vanadium alloys are applied as structural and protective materials as they remain stable under radiation exposure and are compatible with liquid-metal environments.1
